Born To Lose

The story is told of a man who was walking by a tattoo parlor or a tattoo studio in Hong Kong. There in the window on display, were several different samples of tattoos that the artist could draw.

In the window was a picture of an anchor, a picture of a flag, a mermaid and one that said, "Mom." But the one that really stood out the most, was one that said "Born to loose!"

The passer-byer, turned and walked into the tattoo shop and asked the little Chinese man, "Do people really come in here and get that tattoo put on their body?”

Which one asked the artist? The one that says, "Born to Loose?” "Oh yes," replied the artist. The man said, "I just can't believe that someone would actually have, ‘Born to loose,’ tattooed on their body.”

The man behind the counter, simply tapped his forehead with his finger, and in broken English replied, "Before tattoo on body, tattoo on mind."

What the artist saying was, "Whoever puts this tattoo of "Born to loose," on his body, had this opinion of himself long before he entered his tattoo shop!

Recently I was talking with a group of specialists that say, they can take a special laser, and with this laser device they can remove unsightly birthmarks, displeasing scars, and a number of undesirable things from one's body to improve their appearance.

Among the things this laser can remove are tattoos. And now many are willing to pay dearly, to have taken from view those offensive marks.

Truly this is amazing, that man has developed a piece of equipment that can help one gain a higher quality of life,

However, man may remove the outward "Born to loose" announcement, but may still need the introduction to one that can remove this hideous mark from the mind!

2 Corinthians 4:4, the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

Today we may not be so bold, as to have a tattoo needle on the skin of our body, however the very reason that so many today are not experiencing real Joy, is simply because somewhere along the way the enemy has convinced them they were born to loose.

Someone else can have joy, but not me! Someone else can drive a new car, but not me! Someone else can have a good home, a good marriage, a good family, but not me! I was born to loose!

Thank God there is the Great Surgeon, the Great Physician who can wash you clean through His Word and with His blood can make one whiter than snow! His name is Jesus!

In Jesus you are born a winner!!
