The Apple Of His Eye 

Zechariah 2:8 says,,, for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

I may not look like much to some, but, I’m the apple of God’s eye! I may not speak with eloquent speech, but, I’m the apple of God’s eye!

Along with the Apostle Paul, I'm qualified to say, 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching may not be with enticing words of man's wisdom,

But I’m the apple of God’s eye! I may not dot all my I’s and cross all my T’s, but, I’m the apple of God’s eye! God saw something in me worth saving! Jesus saw something in me worth dying for.

St. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

When God says, I’m the apple of His eye, the word apple actually means the pupil. So now I'm the pupil of His eye! And we know we will do anything it takes to protect the pupil of our eye. So God says, I’m the pupil of His eye!

And He will do whatever it takes to protect me! He will go to the extreme to guard and take good care of me!

Someone said “Well, it's just a figure of speech!” Well figure it this way, Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; and He said I’m the apple!

Not only am I an apple, I am the apple! Every morning you get up, get up knowing you are the apple of God’s eye.

And another thing, just about anyone can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed.

And that just simply means, anyone can examine and report what’s already happened. Just about anyone can inspect where I am today, and what they see in me today. Anyone can talk about what God has done and the good old days. Anyone can report what’s passed, but, God can see the beginning and the end!

God not only sees where you are today and the storms you’re going through today, but God can already see your rainbow!

He also sees your potential and your possibilities!

Jesus said, “I see something in you! You can count the seed in the apple, but I see the apples in the seed!"

I’m convinced God is looking for a man or woman who won’t limit themselves and the power of God in their lives, by what they see in the present.

God's desire is for someone to bless who will not allow tomorrow blessings to be controlled by their past failures.

You are the Apple of God’s eye and the best is yet to come!
